Book Reviews
Consider writing a book review for our page. If you liked the book you are reviewing, be sure to include 2 or 3 other titles you enjoyed as well. This way, readers can share interests they may have in common with others.
Please include book title, author and a brief review, as well as if you are a 6th, 7th, 8th grade student, a parent or a teacher.
Finding the Right Book
On your student’s CRCT report, under his/her reading score, it gives you the student’s lexile measure. If your student measures, for example, an 895L, he/she should be reading books between 795-895 for leisure, and between 895-945 for a "motivating challenge."
After you pick a book that you think is appropriate, go to:
www.lexile.com * Click on "Build a Book List" * Enter the title in the search box on the left.
Find the book on the list and match up the lexile.
